My approach to piano services is that a piano can be tuned accurately but still not play and/or sound nice. Voicing and action adjustments such as regulation are crucial to having a nice sounding and playing instrument.

Piano manufacturers recommend at least twice a year tunings due to playing and humidity changes. Performance pianos require more attention.
I charge $150.00 for a standard tuning. Some places slightly higher, ie, McLean, Laytonsville.
